Safenets Ipsec Vpn Toolkit

Quick Sec 4.1 release was announced by SafeNet as the world's first integrated IPSec VPN platform that allows VPN connections from next generation mobile devices. Both the Server and Client toolkits enable OEM developers to develop to VPN services according to current IPSec standards. This included MobIKE standard into carrier-grade security gateways, network routers, as well as mobile VPN devices and desktop VPN clients.

Fixed to Mobile networks are becoming increasingly prominent with the evolution of the present network to provide for mobile needs. It is therefore essential to build FMC gateway that accept mobile VPN connections that are of 3G and WAN networks.

The Vice president and general manager of SafeNet's, OEM Networking Division said that the company was proud to be the first to market the carrier-grade IPSec security toolkit. With this tool kit networking manufacturers can add full mobility into the next generation gateways with ease.

The QuickSec 4.1 Server Tool kit is launched as a premium edition that enables standard compliant authentication, confidentiality and data integrity. This is interoperable with other standard based clients and includes IKE v2 as well as MobIKE for mobile VPN client support.

The Client toolkit premium edition is to build VPN client functionality into mobile networking devices. It is also available for client application that do not require MobIKE protocol support, this is the standard edition

MobIKE is the addition of multihoming and mobility to IKE key Exchange protocol which is specified by the IETF. It is to enable seamless roaming of IPSec clients from one IP network to another without a renegotiation of the secure VPN connection every time there is a traversal from one IP network to another.

SafeNet provides complete security, with its encryption technologies to protect communications, intellectual property and digital identities. Its products include hardware, software, and chips.
