Site-to-Site Intranet VPN

With the help of Intranet VPN, gateways that are spread across several locations within the same business negotiate a secure Site-to-Site Intranet VPN communication channel across the internet called VPN tunnel. They are used to connect various branch offices, business sites, home offices, service centers and units of an organization.

The users from any side of the tunnel can communicate with one another. It acts like a single network. But there is a strong need for strict performance and bandwidth requirements and strong encryption. Since it connects different sites spread across several locations, there is a dearth of distance.

As a result, costs and time is saved. It is much advantageous than the traditional leased -line or frame relay technologies. Site-to-site VPNs are perfect alternative for WAN. With the help of advanced equipments and large-scale encryption, an organization can be connected to various fixed sites over the internet. Site-to-Site-Intranet-VPN connects LAN to LAN.
